  4. Mr. Webb was actually onboard the USS Augusta in 1986 I think shortly after he became Secretary of the Navy. I was on the original crew of the boat and I was transferred before he got there. He’s one of the best Senators we’ve got and I think he’s willing to “do the right thing” when other politicians are all about “I’ll take care of you if you take care of me”.

  6. Nice work Jim, you pulled off a hail mary play.

I cant believe Aung San Suu Kyi is still being held, I think we will have to call her the Mandela of Myanmar. And the sentence they gave Yettaw was crazy too!

  8. I can’t believe Senator Jim Webb’s approval rating is below 20% on CongressRatings !! This must be a way low number of people responding becasue here in Virginia he’s well respected. Senator Jim is doing the right thing by a lot of former military around here in Virginia and he’s a family man that really cares. I do not think he should have been so personally disrespectful to George W. when the President asked him about his boy. You know at some level at the end of the day we are all just people and I do believe George was just trying to be nice that time.

  10. Dear Honorable Jim Webb:

Will you help the American people paying over 50% of our income for taxes and health care. When political personalities are voted out, we the people, should not be paying them huge retirements for doing nothing. Our elected officials should also have the same health care coverage that Obama is trying to push over on us. Elected officials are no different from all human beings. We all have the same needs. We, the people should not have to support elected official once out of office for the rest of their lives.

Could you also, please do something about the following. WE are tired of being responsible, hard working Americans, paying for everything someone else wants. “WE ARE TIRED” of the WHOLE MESS and that is what it is.

    Sincerely,

    Debbie Gallimore
