Sarah Palin in Kuwait 2 (High Rez)

Currently:  Palin is slated to join the ranks of FOX News for “political commentary and analysis” says FOX, read the story them here: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/01/11/palin-join-fox-news-contributor/

Palin’s book, even before release, is #1 on Amazon and there may be a coffee date with Sec. of State Hillary Clinton after Palin mentioned it in her book.

July 4 (Bloomberg) – Sarah Palin’s abrupt announcement that she was resigning as Alaska’s governor left observers speculating about a future for her that could range from a 2012 White House bid to political oblivion. Read the rest of the story…

Bio: Highlights of Palin’s tenure as Governor include a successful push for an ethics bill, and also shelving pork-barrel projects supported by fellow Republicans. Though she initially expressed support for the Gravina Island Bridge project,[21] once it had become a nationwide symbol of wasteful earmark spending and federal funding was lost, Palin decided against filling the $320 million gap with state money.[22][23]Alaska needs to be self-sufficient, she says, instead of relying heavily on ‘federal dollars,’ as the state does today.”

  2. Gov. Palin was the best & wisest choice McCain has made, she will definitely have a positive impact on the women voters. Forget all the Democrats that says she lacks experience, Obama lacks more experience than she does, and she seems very straightforward and to the point, unlike Obama who is vague and evasive.

  6. She is a lot more prepared than Obama!!!! And while Joe Biden may be more experienced to handle the job, Sarah Palin is a prompt decision maker & has been very proactive based on the positions she has held and her gubernatorial tenure. She is definitely not one to mess with and you can bet she will make the right decisions when faced with tough situations.

  8. Well Zoey while you seem to have some points let me break it down for you
    a. she has only been in charge of a population of 9,000
b.her own 17 year old daughter is pregnant
    c. her husband had a DUI which shows no regard to others lives
    d. no foreign policy experience
    e. Check the ethnicity of her area of Alaska. Just how many minorities has she had to deal with?
    f. She is currently under investigation for having someone fired for not hiring her bother in law. This is who we want to run the country if McCain dies?

They say Barak lacks military experience to be our next Commander and chief, and she has it? This s stupidity of the part of the republicans trying to persuade Hilary’s voters their way. Hopefully Americans aren’t stupid enough to vote for someone based on gender!

  10. She shoots point guard, she hunts and fishes, she goes after political creeps in her party and everywhere else, and she is tough enough to live and raise kids in Alaska. I used to live on UnAlaska Island in the Alutian Island chain 2,000 miles off the mainland of Alaska. I know from experience that if you can live there you can face any challenge.

  12. Stacy, so what if her daughter is pregnant, its nobody’s business, the children of the candidates should not be attacked and left out of this campaign.
Her husband had a DUI 22 years ago, while Obama was snorting cocaine.
While she may not have foreign experience, so does Obama. the country will survive if McCain dies, there is a lot of other strong leadership in the Rep. party.

Gov Palin is a threat to the Democrats………..thats why there is all this nasty remarks about her from CNN & MSNBC who is so bias in their reporting. Because she is a mother does not mean to say that she cannot be the country’s VP. AS CDJunior says if you have lived in Alaska you can face any challenges!
Go Sarah Palin, you go girl!!

  16. Strong leaders in the republican party? like who exactly? certainly not the people running for office. A man who voted 95% of the time with George Bush and a woman who
a, it is our business if her daughter is pregnant Like it o not this is the society we live in and that is why candidates campaign we live in. We do ask the same questions of all the candidates so saying it is an issue because of her gender is ridiculous. I mean we asked Obama about his, race, his religion, his father, and how he raises two young children in a glaring spotlight. Why is it ok for her to showcase her mentally ill child yet she hid the fact her child was pregnant until the media got wind of it. If you say your are honest you should be forthcoming with the American people. Nobody would have cared had she said it outright. It is because we had to find out it has become an issue
    b. Alaska. Who cares if she hunts and fishes is a hockey mom and saved the state from a private jet I don’t want a “regular woman” running the country. I wan an exceptionally outstanding woman.
    c. Being mayor for less than two years of an affluent society does not in anyway compare to working as a senator and dealing with poverty in an inner city. They say she is more experienced because she was a governor.. so then that would make her more qualified to be president that John McCain! Does that make any sense? What foreign policy did she ever have to deal with running a population of 9,000.
    d. Her less than two year term is filled with scandals and controversy!
She is no threat to the democrats because she has no valid experience! To say that woman will vote for her because Hillary is out is ridiculous! I mean come on! She is against every fundamental belief that Democratic women have including wanting to overturn Roe V Wade and being against stem cell research! I would hope people wouldn’t want to give up their beliefs just to have a woman in office! Thats not giving credit to women!

  18. I am cautiously optimistic regarding her qualifications as a candidate but I am very interested to see what happens with the investigation in Alaska. She fired a police chief with questionable circumstances and it may have been purely political. It might be enough to bring down the entire McCain / Palin ticket. On the other hand, she comes out swinging and I think that’s really what we need in this country. She can fire half of the federal government if it will make things better in my mind.

  22. I wonder if she is ready as well. Apparently she believes she is, taking on the nomination. But just the fact she has only led on a state level worries me. Sure she has had international dealings, but running a country & being commander in chief is a whole other ballgame.

  26. Palin should go back to Alaska and her good old boys. SHe is one of the good ol’ boys so how could she get rid of them. Wanting to get rid of books from th elibrbay shows she does not value freedom of speech and the fact that she said global warming is a myth means she has no idea of the environment inwhich we live. If Palin is ever given the chance to deal with foreign leaders we will sink even lower on the respect scale of every nation. It was bad enough that we had Bush representing us but come on… someone who wants to teach creationism in the schools? Ridiculous!

Sarah Bernhard who is just a nasty bitch. Her foul language and her contorted face while making faces trying to imitate Palin just shows how low class & street scum Bernhard really is, and she is definitely NOT funny!

  34. I think you’re confused Zoey, Palin is the most vague…. and when she’s not being vague, then shes avoiding debates and interviews all together because she knows she’ll hurt the campaign….

Check out her interview with Katie Couric:

She is a joke, a tool, a pawn. Johana is absolutely right, Tina Fey WOULD make a better VP.

  36. Sarah has proven that the ,good ole boys, need to go back where they came from. Look at the economy now. Go back to the Clinton administration and look at Obama now using his position now to influence politicians. He is all for Paulson plan ,then will be plenty to go around with the good ple boys. Are you one of them. The average Americans are not. If you think he is going to help you , look back at his voting record on taxes. Never Happen!!!You just may lose your freedom as well your money. When something looks too good , take another look.

  38. Sarah Palin is only being used by McCain (the weasel) to get to the Hillary votes, he is so conniving, he waited before the Dems convention to be over to announce
his VP pick and then to get the attention of the entire media & to deflect from the convention that evening…..all of McCain’s moves are deliberate & underhanded just like Bush & Cheney. Palin could have declined, however she has held up with grace & courage, but its a pity she’ is being wasted on McCain’s selfishness & greed.

  50. She is going to run for VP in 2012 with Newt Gingrich even if he gets caught with his pants down again and divorces his 3rd wife. Sarah in her earlier life dethroned part of the Republican “Old Boy Network” in Alaska but now she is in a lockstep with many of the elements she previously denounced. Like the religious right who are just as bad and ignorant as the religious extremists in Arab countries. Sarah is still absolutely clueless to major issues in foreign policy.
