  1. Edwards out of the race made the democrats lose any chance they had at the presidency. America is still t prejudicial to place a woman or black man into office. By eliminating Edwards we just gave McCain the seat!

  2. I am seriously saddened to see John leave the race, or at least for the time being. Although, the prospect of Hillary or Obama winning the office will make for a highly interesting election.

  3. What a strategic decision Edwards had not giving his support to either side! Now he has put himself in a great position fr the Vice Presidency! Whatever he ends up doing, I hope he stays strong on his commitment to the fight against poverty! We need the help!

  4. The ‘two America’s’ man who lives in a 28,000 sq ft house. If he was a man of action, he’d act like Jimmy Carter. Sell his opulent home for a modest size and help out the less fortunate with his extreme wealth. He could make a difference. Just a thought.

  5. Tammy politicians have never had integrity, they just never had u tube or massive amounts of paparazzi and tabloids to contend with. If JFK had been sleeping with Marlyn Monroe today we would be seeing pics all over the internet. Remember politicians equal shady. What is good is that we have a chance to make hem accountable on sited like this!

  6. What an IDIOT! Yet another politician caught in a scandal. He had an affair and has a secret love child? What is wrong with these people? All while his wife is battling a serious illness? What happened to integrity in our politicians? What has our nation become?

  7. Wow its amazing when one’s political career can be harmed because he had an affair! Is it any of our business what John Edwards does in the bedroom ? Suddenly America has stopped listening to his war against poverty and all they care about his illegitimate love child! I am sickened by the fact that this is the state our country is in!

  8. What a hypocritical lying cheating scumbag John Edwards is!!!!! and the nerve of him to accept 2007 Father of the Year Award!!!……….he was so nasty to Hillary Clinton and it serves him right for this expose. I always knew that he was not genuine, just conceited and arrogant…….& loves himself more than his own family. Yes the state of the country is in a turmoil, but with leaders like John Edwards we have to pay attention to his integrity and how true would he be to the people who elected him. Bill Clinton went thru aa smimlar sex scandal, what makes John Edwards special that they country should not talk about it. I glad we found out the truth about him.

  9. John Edwards makes no sense. If you are going to step out of your marriage do it with someone hot! This just shows how dumb he is!

  10. Although in most cases, we cannot judge someone’s professional lives using sordid facts from their personal lives, it is hard to deny the lack of values one has to have if they are having an affair. It is a betrayal of trust, loyalty, integrity, and so on, and these are definitely qualities we would want in our politicians. At the same time, he is human, and people do make mistakes.
