Vito John Fossella, Jr. (born March 9, 1965), is a Republican politician from the state of New York who has represented the state’s 13th Congressional district (map) in the U.S. House of Representatives since 1997. The district includes Staten Island and the Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights, Bensonhurst and Gravesend neighborhoods of Brooklyn. Fossella, A Staten Island native, was born to a family that included several politicians. Fossella initially took office in 1997, after winning a special election held to replace the resigning Susan Molinari.   1. boy new york is having a bad time with politicians lately. he should know better than driving drunk. i am surprised he does not have a limo driver, lol

    just goes to show, that while regular people are struggling to pay their bills, feed thier families and pay their morgtages politicians are out milking the system

  3. What is the world coming to when we have Senators who cannot uphold the law. Fundamentally, you should be willing to uphold the Constitution and the laws of government when you decide to represent our country. His personal like is his business. I don’t care if he has 10 secret love children. Driving under the influence is not a mistake it is a blatant disregard for life. One of the children who live in the area he represents could have gotten killed if he had hit someone. He needs to resign and should receive the harshest penalty under the law.
